How it works
A gift that begins with a conversation.
You send the invitation. They talk by phone or web. Omoide asks follow-up questions and shapes their chosen stories into a printed biography, with their recorded voice alongside it.
The questions you wouldn’t know to ask
One conversation builds on the last.
A first job. An unexpected move. Someone they haven’t mentioned in years. Omoide follows those details to find the stories behind them.
Remembers the details
Omoide remembers the people and stories they have already shared, so each conversation can go further.
Asks the follow-up question
A passing detail can become a whole story. Omoide asks about what they actually say.
Moves at their pace
There is room to pause, reflect, and come back to a story. The pace follows them.
The storyteller
“I came to California in 1977. I thought I’d stay for a year.”
Omoide
“What made you decide to leave?”
A thread to return to
“You thought you’d stay for a year. What made you decide to stay?”
How it works
A gift that begins with a conversation.
- 01You choose the gift
Choose an edition, add a little family context, and send an invitation when the time feels right.
- 02They talk with Omoide
They talk by phone or web. Omoide asks the questions and follows up across conversations.
- 03Your family keeps the stories
They review their story first. What they share becomes a book and private family archive.

An invitation to tell your story
Dad, I want to know your story.
Omoide asks the questions. They tell the stories, in their own time.

What the family keeps
A book that feels like them.
The way they tell a story matters. Omoide shapes their chosen stories into chapters, brings in family photographs, and keeps recordings of their voice alongside the book.
- Edited into chapters that sound like them
- Photographs placed in the stories where they belong
- Reviewed and approved by the storyteller before print
- Recordings of their chosen stories, in their own voice
Their story, their choice
Private means they stay in control.
Omoide uses the conversations to create their biography. It does not sell family stories or use them for advertising.
- Nothing is recorded before Omoide explains that it is an AI biographer and asks for consent.
- They can skip any question or say “Don’t ask me this.”
- Family sees only the stories they choose to share. Full conversations remain theirs alone.
- They can change what is shared later and review the biography before it is printed.
